According to Apple's support site for PowerBook G4 adapters, there's an AC adapter for the 15 and 17-inchers, while there's a separate one for the 12-inch. I take it that I can't interchange them?

15" and 17" require 65w adapters, 12" use 45w. They are typically all the same price, so I recommend getting the 65w because it'll work on anything. 45w will work on 15" and charge very slowly, but I haven't tried a 17".
