I have a 2 GHz intel core 2 duo mackbook and I just replaced the batter because my original batter wouldn't hold a charge and had the "replace now" message in the battery status area.
So I ordered a new battery and the same exact issue is present. Battery wont hold a full charge. The replace now message isn't there but the batter cant really function unless its plugged in. Which is useless. Any suggestions? I have a good feeling it's not the new battery I bought.
