old Apple in classroom

I was a substitute teacher at one of our local high schools today. The subjects were Accounting and Keyboarding. The classroom had an Apple IIGS in the back table. It wasn't hooked up, of course. And there were a large stack of 5.25" disks on the shelf. Wow!

How old is this computer?
