Why wife got a old 2nd gen ipod nano from her sister and used it for about a week before the lock (hold) icon showed up even with the switch turned on or off. I did a factory reset on it and it still won't unlock. So today I open it up and pulled the logicboard and insides out to have a look.
I see there are three solder points on the hold switch cable connecting to the logic board. I know with the gen 1 you could disable the hold switch all together by soldering some points together and was wondering if anyone knew of any way to disable the hold switch on the 2nd gen nano so my wife can use it again.
