Hi,

I am looking for suggestions for a messenger style shoulder bag.

I currently own the STM Scout and Tom Bihn Ristretto for iPad bag. I use the STM Scout for travelling back and fore to the office which is nice and small for the iPad only. I use the Tom Bihn Ristretto for travelling and need some more space for additional items.

With 2 great bags, I have one problem - sometimes for work, I am required to travel with my 12" HP Laptop so I would like a bag that can fit my 12" Laptop and my iPad at the same time.

I have looked at:-

1) STM Alley (Small size suitable for 13" laptop). This is almost what I am looking for but its slightly on the long side. http://www.stmbags.com.au/catalog/laptop-shoulder-bags/alley-small-laptop-shoulder-bag/

2) SF Bags Muzetto - Again slightly on the large size. http://www.sfbags.com/products/muzetto/muzetto.php

I know, the wife has already told me I am turning into a bag freak!

Anyone have any suitable suggestions, bearing in mind that I would like the bag to be as small as posible? Thanks

I just got this Brown Bag company bag from amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Brown-Bag-Company-31549-Messenger/dp/B000L3XZGW/ref=pd_cp_hi_1
My ipad2 in a maroo leather case and my naked 13 in. macbook pro both fit at the same time with their respective cords. There is not much room for anything else other than a few sundries in the zip pocket, but the company also makes a bigger bag. The bag seems to be very high quality leather and I like the fact that is has a clasp for the flap which is what kept me from the muzatto bag.

The leather used on the Muzetto seems to vary a lot in their production run. The one I returned was almost suede, very easily marked and absorbed rain.

The Tom Bihn Ristretto looks ok. Bit more masculine imo.

That one looks quite and similar to one I recently got but it doesn't seem to have any kind of padding.

Can you post pics when you receive the vertigo? I was originally going for that one but then settled on the muzetto. I just traveled with the muzetto and it seemed "heavy", so now I'm wondering if I should have gotten the vertigo. I know it's only 1lb difference, but....
