I have an iMac G5 that is barely 1 month old that I am considering selling. I love the computer, but in retrospect it isn't precisely what I should have bought. Specs are:

17" iMac
1.8ghz G5
768mb RAM (256 Apple + 512 Crucial)
80gb GD
SuperDrive

Everything that came with the machine is included, boxes, manuals, Panther discs, iLife '05 upgrade disc, keyboard, mouse (opened but never used).

The computer is in perfect cosmetic shape, and runs great. I am interested in the following items instead:

Mac mini 1.42ghz, the more RAM the better.
17" or larger LCD displays (preferably from quality manufacturers, but I don't specifically care if it's an Apple brand)
USB Keyboard (for use with mini, prefer Apple brand)
MAYBE an iPod
$Cash$

EDIT:
I would also consider trades including high-end PC components, such as nice video cards, Athlon 64 CPUs/motherboards as well.

Also, I would think about trades including an iBook G3 with at least a DVD drive, 256mb+ RAM, and a decent battery.

Please make offers :)

I'd be interested, would greatly depend on the cash amount offered with the iBook.

I should clarify that a trade would have to include either a complete system (computer + LCD) or enough cash to buy a decent display.

I've had lots of interesting offers, but no deals yet.

Thanks

I have a 1.25 Mac Mini, with AE and an 80gig HDD, apple mouse and keyboard, and a Dell 2005fpw that I would consider trading. Are you interested?

This is still available... If someone was just looking to buy it outright I'm asking for $1300 OBO plus actual, fair shipping. It has 11 months of AppleCare left, and if the buy wants it, I can add 3 years of AppleCare for the student rate ($50 off).

Trades for mini's still prefered, of course. :)

any interest in a perfect Rev A PB (excepting cosmetic) w/ an extra 512 MB ram installed?

Specs? Not really looking for notebook as my main machine, but can't hurt to at least listen to offers.

it's pretty standard.
12" screen (1024x768)
very good battery ( routinely get 3 hours on medium load tasks w/ reduced brightness)
OSX.3
640MB RAM
40Gig HDD
Airport Extreme
Bluetooth
video out -> I know that the card's underpowered, but i've driven 1024x768 @ millions with an independent 12xx X 1024 (can't recall the exact numbers) @ millions also in photoshop w/o probs
867 Mhz G4
combo drive (24x burning)
it's done me well, but I could stand an upgrade

I'm widening my trade options to include newer PB's. I'm really mostly interested in 15" and larger models, Rev B and later (Radeon9600 GPUs).

Still also interested in mini systems, or a complete gaming PC setup and a nice iBook or older PB... or some combo of these and cash.

My basic desire is to go to a "lesser" mac than my iMac and a gaming PC..

If the mac were to be a mini, I would need a new lcd display, but a mac laptop and a gaming PC could use my current CRT display (it'd only be a Wintendo =p).

A new PB might also do, and I can add gaming rig later...

PM me with any offers,

Rob
