First of all you'll need to buy the AirPort Card adapter so you can install an AirPort Card in your iMac. The AirPort Card is install in the back of your iMac. This is the same place where you put in the extra RAM. There's a little door in the back under the display that flips downward and gives you access to the AirPort slot and RAM slots.
Your iMac is all setup for AirPort wireless except for the slot and the card. All of the wires are already in place for you.
