What happened to Safari gestures?

It is enabled and was working fine before the update but ever since the update the two fingers left or right doesn't go forward or back in Safari.
 
Ah okay, I was expecting some with this new update. Do you know if theres a way to enable it?

Yes, it would be under trackpad, more gestures. The reason your changes don't work is because it's a bug. I've read it only causes random pages to appear at random times in back/forward page changes with a swipe.
 
No worries, if BetterTouchTool still works under Lion, you could just assign specific gestures exclusively for Safari use 🙂
 
Works perfectly for me in DP4.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't see the update. Will report back.
