Box in airport express card icon

Hi

So far I am unable to get wireless connection through my Netgear router. I know the router works because it is wirelessly hooked up to another windows based p.c.

What does it mean if I have a box inside my grayed out airport express icon in the top right corner of the screen?

Thank you for any help.

could you post a screen shot? im not sure what this icon could be myself, also what options to you get when you click on it?

cmd+****+4 will allow you to do a screenshot that just selects a particular area

I think there was a typo there. cmd+shift+4 will allow you to take a screenshot. As you can see I've underlined the letter Place left out. That's why the asterisks were there.

I had a little laugh when I saw that.
