I use my MBA for Aperture. As my Aperture library grows will it impact Ram? I have a 28gb library now and 2gb of Ram and it runs fine. But at what point will it slow down? How much of the Aperture library is in Ram at any given time?

Aperture doesn't store its photos in the RAM, as RAM is temporary. But if you only have 2GB, RAM will fill up fast in Aperture if you work with a lot of photos at the same time.

If you're storring your photos as .jpg than it shouldn't be an issue. If you shoot Raw you might run into probelms when editing your photos. Raw files can get pretty big.
