Is it the LCD issue or the graphic card issue?

I also have this issue. Rossmann, Do you think this is an issue with the complete lcd or with a component like the inverter or a replaceable component on the lcd?
Here are some pics I took next to my other macbook which is working fine.

OP: Try pressing Command + Option + Control + 8 on your keyboard. It looks like you might have inverted the screen colors on accident. Either that or this is indeed a bit of an issue.

I wish that was the problem, but I already thought of that one. Definitely a display issue. when I run to an external or take a screen shot it looks fine. I have to replace a part somewhere and I am just hoping to spend the least amount possible.

Quick and easy fix for this!

Step 1. Remove outer bevel.

Step 2 Remove 12 screws and 7 frame screws.

Step 3 Remove tape and Inverter wiring that is taped to the back of LCD

Step 4 Remove LCD clip, by pulling directly to right.

Step 5 Remove LCD screen

Step 6 Take to shooting Range

Step 7 Load [1] .50 caliber bullet into chamber of a weapon of your choice.
I personally prefer an Ar 15 upper reciever on a .50 call barrel.

Step 8 Sight in the LCD screen

Step 9 Pull Trigger

Step 10 Post picture of fixed LCD screen on Macrumors.

I used a little rubbing alcohol on some q-tips to clean the dirty spots and the display is as good as new. I saved $100 instead of buying a new LCD. No need to take it to the shooting range after all.
