Hi,

I have successfully followed an online tutoral and taken my macbook apart in the attempt to dry it out after a water spill. Everything is fine and well organised ready to put it back together again now that I have given it almost a week to dry out.

However, I am stumbling on the first hurdle in fitting the keyboard/top case back on. There are four grey clips which slide slightly on the right side above the CD drive which seem to be preventing the case clipping back on properly.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can overcome this? I have watched a few tuturials in replacing kepyboard at the part that they clip it back on and it loooks so easy that I think I must be doing something wrong. Should I take the little grey clips off or?

Thanks in advance.

Please disregard this post

Now fixed

I slotted the keyboard on sideways and at an angle then pushed and it went on.
