Could I take 256 MBs of RAM from my dads old PBG4 867 MHz (it has 512 now) that has been relegated to e-mail and put it in my iBook. The FSBs on both comps r 133MHz so would that be possible?

The Powerbook G4 867 - is it a 15" Titanium or a 12" Aluminium?
Your iBook G4 assuming it is the one in your sig., the 1.2 GHz uses PC2100 DDR RAM.
The PBG4 12" Aluminum uses PC2100 DDR - you'd be OK with that
The PBG4 15" Titanium uses PC133 SDRAM - this would not fit.
Both PC2100 (DDR266) and PC133 use a 133 MHz bus. The DDR (Double Data Rate) responds 2x the bus speed (therefore 266 MHz)
Thanks

Your iBook G4 uses DDR ram, the 867 does not. The ram wont even fit.
