My sister has the first white unibody MacBook (2009 2.26 GHz C2D). For her bday, I plan on buying her some RAM, since she currently has only 2 GB, and being very not tech-savvy, she is very bad at app management, thus bringing her machine down to a crawl (20 programs open at the same time will do that..).

I know Apple officially supports 4 GB DDR3 1066 in those machines, but MacTracker says that the machines will have no problem with 8 GB. Does anyone have any experience using 8 GB in these MacBooks? Again, this is the 1st unibody white MacBook. Any help would be much appreciated. I've tinkered with lots of MBPs and the old non-unibody MacBooks, but I've never touched one of these yet, and since it's not my own machine, I'd rather be sure. Thanks, everyone!
