iOS Bluetooth for jailbroken iphones

Hi,

If an app for finding nearby Bluetooth devices (without Bonjour) is designed for jailbroken phones, then is GameKit still the only way to provide such functionality? Since GK (GKPeerPickerController) hides away the list of nearby device ids, would the list be accessible on jailbroken phones?
