Thinking about buying a used 23" Apple Cinema Display

I'm thinking about buying a used Apple 23" Cinema display but was wondering if I should be concerned about the display not being as bright anymore from when it first came out. Is this something I should be concerned about or do these bulbs last a long time?
 
I bought one about 2 years ago on eBay and it is still going strong
I love it and it was a great investment for me
