iPod touch Help with ipod Jailbreak

I was just wondering if it is safe to update my version of Itunes 10 to the most current version with a jailbroken 4.1 ipod touch.If I update my Itunes will it still recognize and sync my ipod?

Yes it's always safe to update iTunes and even your iPod however if you update your iPod you will lose your jailbreak and have to redo it. Updating iTunes however will not change a thing.
