I'd like to trade my Wiebetech DuoGB 400GB external FireWire400 drive for an internal 400GB SATA drive.

There are two 200GB Maxtor DiamondMax ATA133 8mb cache drives in this enclosure. At the moment it's set up as a RAID 0, single 400GB drive through Disk Utility. The FW bridge chipset is Oxford 911. It's problem-free. I've treated it gently, as it's only on when I need it (meaning most of the time it's been powered off). I have the original box too.

The SATA drive I want in exchange is the IBM Hitachi Deskstar 7K400. ZipZoomFly is selling it for $284 shipped (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100599-1).

Here are two reviews:

This thing has a world compatible power supply (100-240V AC).

Here are pictures of the FW drive and its box:

Update: ZipZoomFly now sells the item I want as an even trade for $261 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100599-4). I'll add $20 from my end of the trade. I think this is a fair offer considering the external enclosure, and the two striped drives should be faster than a single 400GB IDE drive.

The drive has been great for me in going back and forth between my PowerBook and Power Mac, but these days I'm doing most everything on the desktop so I no longer need the flexibility afforded by the external drive.

I want to do the trade in a way where I can transfer my files to the SATA drive and then ship out the FW drive. Thanks.
