All of the threads I read didn't really help me find an external DVD drive so that I can rip my DVD library on my new iMac. I understand that the newer Mac models have RipLock (since my old MBP was able to rip). However, how do I make sure that an external doesn't also have RipLock? For this, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what drives they use for ripping their movies?
I am not so much concerned with speed...as I don't want to spend some crazy amount on this. Can anybody lead me in the right direction to get an external without RipLock?
