Well, in retrospect, everything has tied together rather nicely. In Mr. Anderson's first post, he references Jolly Roger and a discussion of grog, which led to a post in the drunk thread.

That post referenced "cackle fruit", which the Urban Dictionary (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Cackle+Fruit) says means eggs. Hence the thread on egg recipes.

In that post was a reference to a bird on the shoulder - a parrot, which brought us to the thread on parrot vocabulary and a mention of a million dubloons - the 1,000,000th post thread.

So now, we get "Sink Me!" which is an expression of surprise. Hmmm...

Once in a while, I am reminded how geeky this forum can get.
Am deeply impressed... :D

A big round of applause to all those who put a lot of work into yesterday.
A lot of fun -- I'm just disappointed that I had to be working during most of it...

I'm glad that my boss was on a business trip, so I got to spend most of the day surfing this site!

Thanks to all of the hard-working individuals who made Friday such a grand adventure!
