Interesting PowerBook...

I get MacMall magazine. And I opened it up to find the PowerBooks as the firs product page. I have an AlBook 15" so when I saw the picture I was shocked to see it wasn't the same. The pic in the magazine has the base of an AlBook with the lid of a TiBook. Whats the reasoning behind photoshoping that and then putting it in your magazine to sell. Heck, if i bought it based on that picture i would be pissed when it didn't look like that.

Anyways, thought that was kind of funny. I don't have a scanner or else i would scan it in for you.

I got the same issue of MacMall, I think twice very strange. I heard it just photographs better, just to make it look better. The alu doesn't photo as well so they compromised.

The bottom of the TiBook looks pretty similar to the AluBook IMO, so wouldn't it just be a plain/regular TiBook?

Not as similar as you may think.

The bottom has a diagonally cut corner instead of the rounded like the AlBook. Plus you can see the keyboard and speaker grills and the TiBook had black keys instead of silver.

I personally like the look of the TiBooks a lot, however this is a mesh of the two
