Yes, it's April Fool's Day, but it's also the one-year anniversary of the emergence of Air America radio (http://www.airamericaradio.com/).
Remember when it started on a small handful of radio stations...some of which almost immediately pulled out? Idjits like Rush Limbaugh laughed, gloating about the network's initial setback. No audience for liberal radio, they said. Yet here we are a year later, and Air America is up to 51 stations, plus XM and Sirius radio. It's still not close to the number of stations that carry the False Prophet, but it's an impressive gain, and disproves the all the naysayers.
So if you're going to be drinking tonight, remember to hoist one for Air America. Cheers! :)
