Does anyone use the program 'Audacity' with a firewire soundcard/audio interface?
I've been trying to get the program to work (to playback files, etc, haven't even bothered with recording yet) but the following error message comes up:
Error while opening sound device. Please check the output device settings and the project sample rate
I did check the output settings and the project sample rate (44.1) and made the changes in the preferences but nothing seemed to solve this problem. Of course, when i reverted back to built in audio on my powerbook...everything was fine and playback was smooth.
If anyone else has similar issues with Audacity....post here 😕
