Hello everybody!
I just got myself an ethernet File Server which I can access, manually, by creating a LAN connection to its IP address, thus having its icon added on my workspace.
How could I instruct my iMAC (OS X) to automatically re-establish the connection to this server (which is always on line in my LAN) every time I power the computer up?

Many thanks for your kind support!

Alex

Go to the Accounts under the System Preferences, and select your account, click on the Startup Items, and click the '+' symbol.

Navigate to ~/Library/Recent Servers and select the name/IP of the LAN server you wish to connect to.

OS X will automatically connect to that server every time you log into your account.

You can also just drag the mounted share into the Startup Items part of your Accounts preference pane.
