I'm looking forward to my first Mac and Macbook Air anytime soon  I have understood the various advantages of the exclusion of the optic drive, but I have read in various threads etc that the transfer of Windows 7 to a Mac without an optic drive can be challenging/complicated. I would welcome suggestions from those who have tried and succeeded. Simple solutions if possible please, I am not a total computer nerd but not far from it ;) P.S and yes I am aware of external optical drives, USB flash etc but even these seem to be problematic.

I installed Windows 7 from a bootable flash drive I made...it was a snap. Google it!
