I have the 2.4 C2D 2009 Mini. I use it mainly for watching HD movies, editing photos + video and (allthough rarely) some gaming.

Would i note a big difference if i upgrade?

Maybe it might 'depend'. I'm going from a 2.0GHz C2D 2009 MacMini to a 2011 machine (2.7i7). But what I'm also splurging on here is the 256 SSD + 750GB drive option. This will REALLY speed things up for me!!

Plus, I'm upgrading so I can do dual monitor with my HDTV and my Cinema display which I can't do on my outgoing macmini.

Yeah thats the one i have too, i was incorrect in my intital post. :) Ive noticed that really big full HD movies wont run that smoothly (file size over 15 gigs that is).

I think its more of a mental thing, i want the lastest stuff, especially since i allready skipped a generation! :)
