I have a similar iBook I'm trying to sell here. Its doesn't seem to be attracting much interest. I'm ready to go to ebay, and I think you be better off selling yours over there too.
As for price, I think you could get anywhere from $550-700 for it depending on condition. I'd ask for $650 and see what happens.
Edit: That price of $650 is if you are going to sell it here. I'd start much lower on ebay.

Can someone confirm here that there's no US taxes or exportation duties for a US seller selling his computer in Canada ? Free market between US and Canada (ALENA) since Ronald Reagan was president.

Not even close to being true, actually (the "free market" part anyway).
Under NAFTA, duty is still applied to goods coming into Canada (and going into the US), depending on the category and value.
Regardless of whether the item has a duty applied to it, you WILL have to pay GST and PST on it.
If you have the item shipped to you in Canada, you will have the pay the taxes upon delivery. If you go down to the US to pick it up, you will have to pay the taxes at the border, when returning to Canada.
The seller doesn't pay anything, but the buyer does.
