Resolved iTunes cant be modified or deleted because its required by Mac OS X.

Download an app like App zapper and delete iTunes. After that use Time Machine to restore your library file to a compatible version. Install iTunes 10.4 and you are good to go.
The earliest TM backup is from when I started afresh from Lion, I did a clean install.

File > Get Info.
Under "Sharing & Permissions," change "Everyone" to have read-and-write access.
Permission won't change
I click on the everyone and also the up/down arrows next to everyone and nothing can be changed.
