spoke with tech today, the i7 has hyperthreading. she didn't know anything about turboboost

I don't see why any of those processors wouldn't have HyperThreading and TurboBoost.

Why is it not being mentioned in the Apple specs or by any reviewers so far that I have read.
Seems strange not to promote a feature?

Oh I agree that it's odd, but if you go on Intel's website and look up those processors, they all have HyperThreading and TurboBoost.

The question is not whether these CPUs have HT and TurboBoost. We know they do. The question is whether Apple has disabled them or not.

This is Apple. They rarely refer to processors by their exact model numbers. Instead, you have to infer. Confirmation will come shortly with more comprehensive reviews and teardowns.

I'd guess they have turbo active but it throttles with the heat generated under load?
