To start off, let me say that Lion has been great so far. My only gripe/concern/issue/problem is this:

whenever I open finder/safari/... where there are embedded videos, the GPU of my late 2010 i7 MBP changes to the discrete graphic (330M) due to the following process:

com.apple.qtkitserver

Is there a way to blacklist/whitelist that process to NOT force the dedicated GPU on?

I'm also using GfxCardStatus v2.1, but it doesn't allow you to ignore some processes when switching.

Thanks

humm... apparently, it only does it when there are FLV type videos present in the folder finder is in. I will check to see if other media filetype also trigger qtkitserver to go crazy on CPU and switch to the dedicated GPU.

seems like I'll have to convert those flvs to mp4s or something like that to prevent this from happening.
