View Full Version : OS X Default Boot
MacMinute.com is reporting that Mac OS X will become standard boot as of today on all Macs. This is a big step that will certainly help the mass acceptance of OS X.

Well that wouldn't be the least bit surprising, except for the fact that X still isn't ready for everyone. I have my X partition as my start up drive, but when I need to do extensive work I still use 9. I think X could be great for the common user who doesn't need every available resource at their disposal, but for many professionals who don't want to sacrifice performance with "Classic Mode", it simply won't do. I am glad to see Apple's got this ball rolling much faster than most thought they would. Hope to have a great show today!
