Sorry guys, but iMovie and I just aren't getting along right now. I'm using version 5.0.1. See if anybody has had this happen or any ideas on how to fix it.
I have several places in my video where a clip will begin and the volume needs to be 0%. No biggie. I've done it a million times before in version 4. I insert the clip, move the volume slider for the clip to 0%. Upon preview, all is silent like it should be except for the first millisecond of the clip, just enough time to hear the volume. Then the volume is muted like it should be.
So, another approach, using the volume slider within the clip, I drag it down as far as possible. Same result.
Then I extract audio and throw the extracted audio away. Same result.
So, I think, I'll cut the first millisecond of video out. But, no luck. Doesn't seem to matter what part of the clip it is. A "blip" of the sound from the clip is there before the volume goes to 0%.
Anybody ever had this happen with iMovie. Any ideas how to fix it? I'm very willing to reinstall iMovie it would help!
Thanks everybody.
