getting streaks off of my ipod photo screen

I tried cleaning my ipod photo screen with a lightly damp soft cloth. I now have all of these blurry, colored streaks on the screen that just wont go away. It is impossible not to notice them and makes looking at the screen very distracting. I tried a little window cleaner, but the streaks remain. Any ideas???
