Like the thread title says I really want to purchase a Ti Powerbook. I am specifically looking for 867 and 1 gig CPUs. I would entertain a 667 too but it would HAVE to have DVI support at least. I'm looking at spending about 800 - 1000. I think that is a resonable amount for a Ti PB. I've tried looking around but all I can really find are some 667's for sale at the mac techstore for like 899 and that isn't really a good deal as they don't even have airport.

Try eBay, I see them all the time there. I don't know what their prices/specs are though, as I'm not looking to buy one. Good luck!

I've been looking, not much to be had in the way of 867 and 1 gig. They are all 400, 500, etc

I've got an 867 with 768MB RAM, 40GB drive, CD-RW. It's got an airport card, but I don't know for sure that I want to sell that. It's got two very small chips on the top because of Apple "customer care" when I sent it to get the white spot problem fixed, as well as a stuck blue pixel and I think two grey ones that you can't really see at all. The bottom has some typical scratches from being moved carelessly by people that aren't me, but I'd say that the machine is actually in pretty good condition. It's got Applecare, so anything that goes wrong with it should be fixed by Apple for you. I got it in August (I think) of my Freshman year in college, and I'm at the end of my sophomore year. That makes it . . . two years old this coming August.
Make an offer and I'll get back to you. Outside of the stuck pixel and the chips on the top, you probably can't find better . . . I'm really anal about my PowerBook, and I yelled at Apple for their treatment of my computer (which they refused to take responsibility for. That "Mac Genius" was a self-pontificating weiner, and the phone people just told me to take it to the Apple store).
