Let me start by saying I am an avid Mac User who has had Mac's since 1991 when I was in 7th grade and bought my very first (with my own money) Mac when I was in high school -- a Bondi Blue iMac 233Mhz G3.. Also, I have sold many mac and pc parts on eBay and have a 99% feedback rating with over 170 positive feedbacks. Now onto the display.

I bought this 17" Studio Display with my 3rd Mac purchase, a Dual 867 MDD Powermac and it has performed flawlessly. It features the ADC connector with power, USB and DVI in one cable -- all digital. There are absolutely no dead or stuck pixels and the clear bezel around the screen is also flawless. I've never had to move it around other than to dust so it's in perfect shape. Both USB ports are working perfectly on the back of the monitor as well.

I have kept the original packaging, including manuals and the box is in great shape. You'll be able to open it up like it was new in the box.

Since I recently upgraded to the 20" Cinema and got a really good deal, I'm asking a mere $400 obo for the monitor plus ground shipping which should come to around $15 for UPS Ground.

If you are interested, email me through the forum (click on my username and select the email option) and I'll send some recent pictures.

Here is a picture of the monitor described:

Your (reserve) price is too high. Check out the recently failed (reserve not met) auctions on eBay.

The failed auctions you linked all ended at around $350 and you're offering $100 less than that. The 15" Apple Studio Display LCD goes for around $200-250. Anyhow, those auctions would have ended at around $375 or so if there were no reserve.

 your hilarioius... is that a joke? The guy who listed those (obviously the lowest you could find) had a buy it now at nearly $600. his reserve was probably at least $475 which is why he didn't get more bids. how about I take your $250 and I ship you the box?

Feel free to make a higher offer.

Actually those auctions were the most recently ended that I could find - yes there was one that ended at $400 on the button. And my offer was half serious - what's the worst you would say...no? I can accept that.

Ok, so there was this 20" Alu Display for sale on a thread, this guy called Porshuh944turbo was the first to reply with "PM Sent" at a $800 trice tag.
Now - get thism there's this guy called Porshuh944turbo now selling a Studio Display as "Mint in Box" for around $400 with $115 P&P! Talk about trying to recoup losses!
Perhaps Porshuh944turbo could just run both at once, and really have a crazy experience!

What's P&P? If it has something to do with shipping, well it's pretty costly to ship from the US to Europe. Within the US he's shipping for $30.

Currently at $404 :D

Winning Bid... $420
eBay fee... $10
Paypal fee... $10

Fradulent payment... -$420
Out a monitor and $20 and having to file an eBay grievance....priceless.

Just messing with you. Just remember to spend the extra couple $$ for seller protection.

Good Luck with your auction!

Wow... very pleased with the $485 final :D

Shipping is actually going to be closer to $40 with insurance though so there's a bit of a cut :( but that's okay. Wonder if it's someone on here.

about the 20" alum... I am upgrading to the 20" so that's why I'm selling the 17" -- it was stated I believe in the first post  I just bought a clear bezel 20" but am thinking about taking it back if I can get an alum for $750.

;)
