I enable user login window in preferences. Now I have an option in the top right of my screen the show the "Log In Window" In SL this put my laptop to sleep but in Lion this does it without putting to sleep.
One thing I hated about OSX is that I could not lock my screen without putting the comp to sleep. No I can lock it and come back to mac put in my password and everything is still up and running.
