Hi, I just bought a new MacBook Pro and installed Lion on it and Xcode 4.1. My previous machine I was running Xcode 3 on Snow Leopard on an iMac. I had no problems until now, Xcode can't seem to find my certificates in keychain, and this was never an issue with the reliable Xcode 3. Here are some screenshots of my situation: http://i55.tinypic.com/kf5b9t.png

Any help is appreciated! I'm sure the answer is easy. I called Apple dev support and they had no help since they said they don't handle Xcode related issues :(

Did u do a migrate (export of your key) in keychain to your new Lion, because that worked for me.

No, I didn't even have Xcode installed on my new MacBook Pro till after Lion came out. I need to update my apps and these certificate issues are keeping me from doing it. :( When I sold my iMac of course I didn't export anything either. Should I provide screenshots of my keychain? Thanks!

Are your certificates up-to-date? I noticed this happens to me if my certificates are out-of-date, expired or deleted.

Well on the provisioning portal it says my Development and Distribution certificates don't expire until Feb 4 2012. I'm pulling hairs out over this matter, Xcode should not be this difficult. Here are two screenshots of my Keychain Access certificates:

Is there something I'm completely missing or is something wrong in my Keychain? Thanks!

Just got done with a clean install of Lion instead of upgrading from Snow Leopard, but it was not necessary, by experimenting I found out I had to revoke my certificates on the provisioning portal because I forgot it is tied to a machine, which is why it would not work on my new MacBook Pro. So glad I figured it out though! :D Hey I guess I learned how to do a clean install of Lion after this fiasco at least lol.
