Hi everyone - wanted to add this to the public record. I migrated via Migration Assistant from my 2010 MBP to a new 2011 Air. I upgraded SL to the latest patch that fixes some M.A. issues.
Everything was pretty smooth - moved 60GB in 1 hour, 15 mins and it seems all my settings/prefs have come over. There was one issue however. I had to reinstall both Office 2011 and VMWare.
Now, VMWare made me re-patch up as I expected, but Office did not! Once I reinstalled on top of the old, it still recognized it as patched up. I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but everything seems to work. Just an FYI for the rest of you who bought Airs or Minis.
