They're on tour with Ashlee!!? Damn, that woulda been a good show...I shoulda bought tix :(

I took my daughters to see Ashlee Simpson, and The Click Five were indeed one of the opening acts.

I have to admit these guys were pretty good. They reminded me a lot of some of the better power pop bands of earlier days (The Raspberries in the 70s, The Records in the 80s). They had a lot of the classic Beatle moves down, especially the drummer. The keyboard player was a little annoying, though-- he looked kinda like Morrissey and kept pointing to girls in the audience ("Yeah! You! I'm singing for you!"). But hey, that's part of their game. :-)

I've been meaning to download a tune or two from these guys.

The Keyboard player, Ben, can be a little wild, but deep down, he's a really nice guy. They're all nice and bright guys.

About their album. It is scheduled to come out early August. It is entitled, "Greetings from Imrie House," named after the street they live on. For now, you get a single on iTunes.

Now, they're opening for Aaron Carter for a few shows in the midwest. Now quite sure where they are. Look them up at theclickfive.com .
