I am really liking Lion, but the performance is not as great as hoped. Mission Control has a lot of issues, there are some bugs and whatnot.

What is the thing you would like Apple to fix the most?

In my opinion, Mission Control and performance issues.

More like wait for 10.7.2 or 10.7.3 the way Lion is at the moment. Its rather buggier than I expected.

I'm waiting...more for refinements and optimization. The Mission Control bug is a huge one but other than that, I think Lion isn't that bad with bugs.

I think 10.7.1 is going to be a bug rush fix. Regardless, I'm running 10.7.2 right now with iCloud beta 5. I find that it runs more responsively and is less of a memory hog. It takes about 2gb (a little more) of ram to run it nicely whereas when i was running 10.7 it was using about all of my 3-4 gb of ram. It's hard to say my observations hold true for everyone especially since all that was written in the note section was "TBA". But maybe something other than allowing iCloud beta 5 has changed. It seems that if 10.7.1 was really that change instilling update that everyone is looking forward to, 10.7.2 wouldn't have been released to developers.

Having said that, I'd like iPhoto to work again.

It has absolutely nothing to do with that. 10.7.2 is the release that is scheduled to include iCloud stuff in the fall, and the one that iCloud engineers are currently working on, so that's the one that was provided to developers specifically to test iCloud. 10.7.1 will probably be seeded to developers very soon and released some time after that.

I think it's the one where the apps are not lined up properly but are instead overlapping. I've seen it happen a couple of times, though not anymore as of late *-)

I'm hoping 10.7.1 will fix the decrease in my MBP battery life. Other than that I'm enjoying Lion.

I'm waiting for 10.7.1 to get rid of the nasty look of iCal and Address Book, to stop Launchpad doing random reorderings, and to make versions optional so that it doesn't royally screw with how I work with files. Oh, also it would be nice if searches in the new view style in Mail.app would show TO instead of FROM for sent items. But that, and pretty much everything else annoying, has been taken care of by just not using new features ... the same process we go through every time!

I'm waiting for it to see what issues are fixed, before upgrading. Not sure if I'll have to wait until .2 or .3
