This one is really nice, but VERY EXPENSIVE!!! It sells for $8,999! This is for the most serious professional photographers only (or the rich)!
Discuss.

Well, figuring that this is a Mac site, and that many Mac users may be in the business of Digital Photography, I thought this would be of interest to a lot of folks here. I guess not.
BTW, this is not an ad. I don't work for Canon. ;)

Same here. I think I'll still consider the EOS-D 60 for now. :)

That sucker IS nice! But the price tag is TRIPLE what I paid for my Canon GL2 camcorder, and double the price of an XL1S. $9000 for a still camera?! Definitely for pros only. I think I'll stick with my Sony DSC-F707!

How many will take a professional Kodak camera seriously though? If it was 40 years ago, maybe, but now? It sounds like a nice camera for Kodak executives to have when there's a lot of inventory left over.

What we have to remember is that it matters not on the tool but on the person using it. Right bous?? The thing here, and if you would have bothered to read about the kodak, you'd know its built on a Nikon body. So, the feature set is there. The CMOS is very similar to whats used in the canon, and yes, I know about 15-20 professionals who swear by their DCS 760s.
So, back to detention bous. Do you're research.

Sorry, but I can't do I'm research. :)
That's not the first Kodak on a Nikon body, so what's your point?
I agree that the artist is most important, but the tools do matter too. No matter how good the specifications, if someone's spending a lot of time thinking about the camera and not the subject, they won't get the results they want.
Of course, at these prices, I'd imagine anyone would be more aware of the camera. :)

Exactly. And this tool seems to have the features of any good film camera. Apparently, it has the res too., And I'm excited to SEE HOW IT PERFORMS. There's the Kodak/nikon camp and the Canon camp, similar to mac vs. pc. And damn is it annoying. Canon fans shoot down the Nikon stuff and vice-versa.
Hey, that canon could suck just as bad the kodak could suck.
And really, for 2300 bucks, I'm tempted to get a FUJI FinePix S2. And I had a 602s zoom for a weekend and hated it.
Product lines. Yea.
