I moved out of this state into Washington four years ago because ofthe abysmal protection NOT afforded to the homosexual citizens of this state. I moved back, and things surprisingly keep improving...

Three years ago, the non-dscrimination act was passed, and hopefully, our Governor can get his mind off slots for two seconds and sign this one, which allows same sex partners to make medical decisions for eachother.

Welcome news, for a change. :)

I have to admit, though, that guy O'Donnell has a point...though I don't know if there's a way to satisfy all parties. Perhaps when your kid's 18 you just have to admit that they're making their own decisions now...even potentially stupid ones.

One thing about the article that confuses me. The "final days" of Maryland's 2005 general assembly? It's April!
