Hi! In one of my mac i have this problem:
I have tried to uninstall open office and install again but same problem. Any body know how to get rid of this? No matter were i click the pop up don't disappear.http://dl.dropbox.com/u/340441/screen.png

did you remove the preferences folder for it?
try using appcleaner to remove all the lingering files associated with OpenOffice.Org

Quit all Open Office apps completely, then go to "~/Library/Saved Application State/" and delete any Open Office folders.
You could also restart and clear your java cache for good measure.

If LibreOffice had the ability to check for updates inside the app, then i would use it without a doubt.

You can, however, it has been known not to work brilliantly.
