Hi folks,
I've been experimenting with using Adwords to sell my apps, but I have discovered that they have a nasty rule that in practice can greatly limit the number of times an ad will appear. I want to warn fellow developers before they waste money with Adwords or get their hopes up.
If the ad text includes the trademarked words iPad or iPhone, or any other trademarked term, Google will either completely disapprove the ad and it will not run, or they will set it to run only a limited basis.
By "limited" what they really mean is that it may run as rarely as once per week. Or it may run many times per day. It's seems to be completely up to them to define what that limitation is, numerically.
FYI.
