Anyone else, that bought a new computer between June 6th and July 20th, still dealing with Apple not giving you the code to get Lion for free?
I have tried getting mine from the "Redeem from the Apple Online Store" link on this page(http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/), and on 7/21 I submitted a claim(via https://uptodate.apple.com/us/uptodate/macosx/). My serial number still isn't recognized, and I have heard nothing from the claim submitted over a week ago.
I have called AppleCare(multiple times) and they are insistent that it is the iTunes people that handle this, and in my e-mails with iTunes people, they says its AppleCare.
Anyone else still dealing with this issue? Anyone have a solution?
