Hi Guys,

Looking for your input.

I'm now using the 2011 17" MBP i7 with 128gb SSD as my only machine.
I'm using it mainly for my Adobe CS5, Streaming HD content to my PS3,
Parrarel, Torrent, Surfing and iphoto/itunes. With occasional steam games.

I've just put the order for 13" MBA, with i7 and 256gb SSD.
Will be fast enough to replace my MBP and do the tasks above?
Will it be much slower? I don't do video renders.

The reason I'm getting the air is that I'm travelling regularly.
Also I will hook it up to the new 27" thunderbolt Display.

Thanks for your input.

Yea.. don't expect to run any type of hardcore video/picture editing with the Air (compared to your Pro at least). There will be a slight performance decrease, however, for everyday tasks, the Air will run flawlessly especially with the i7. You should be fine!
