As someone who is about to make the switch from Windows to Apple and the Mac mini, and as someone who is something far less than a techie, I was wondering if I could ask a few dumb questions of the forum.
Q1 - whilst I understand that if I buy a mini configured with both a hdd and ssd that os x will be stored on the ssd, am I to assume that this is where the 'Applications folder' also resides and that all app's purchased using the mac app store or installed using a dvd will automatically be installed on the ssd without any intervention on my part?
Q2 - am I to assume that if I buy a mini configured with both a hdd and ssd that when I connect my backup drive using Time Machine that Time Machine will automatically backup both the hdd and ssd without any intervention on my part?
thanks
