Can not find any information about this.
After I installed Little Snitch, a process "/usr/bin/freshclam" pops up updating itself. So is ClamAV preinstalled with Lion?

No antivirus software is needed as there are no (as in zero, none, nada, zip) viruses for OS X. If you insist though you can download ClamXav, simply Google it and you will find it. However it's really unnecessary for OS X, the ONLY reason someone could use it is if they download unknown files off the Net and then pass them onto others that own PCs. If an infected file is downloaded it will not affect OS X however it could affect the PCs. If that describes how you use your machine then perhaps ClamXav would be useful however if it doesn't there is really no reason to download it.

You should probably read the OP's post more carefully..

As to your question, OP, no anti-virus software comes pre-installed on Mac OS X, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Hopefully someone else will have some more useful information for you.

ClamAV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clam_AntiVirus) is somewhat different than ClamXav (http://www.clamxav.com/).

Apple Mac OS X Server has included ClamAV since version 10.4. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clam_AntiVirus#Mac_OS_X) This includes Mac OS X Lion Server (http://www.apple.com/macosx/server/specs.html).

Mail Services

SMTP (Postfix)
POP and IMAP (Dovecot)
SSL/TLS encryption (OpenSSL)
Mailing lists (Mailman)
Webmail (RoundCube)
Junk mail filtering (SpamAssassin)
Virus detection (ClamAV)

clamav is included in Lion.
not sure what it does, but the Lion server pages indicate it is there for scanning the mail server for attachments with fun things in them.
You can see clamav listed as part of the open source software in Lion on apple's site...
