no word on whether it supports "protected" AAC files - that's been the stopping point for everyone so far wanting to make an itunes-compatible network player.

Others in the field are Roku's Soundbridge (which I have, and it works really well except won't play M4P's) and Sonos' network sound stuff.

nice looking player, but no mention of protected formats that it will play, so your songs from the iTMS are out? from all online stores? hmmmm guess we will have to wait and see

this is the place where apple has to start letting the iTMS play nicely with others

It looks good, but I need to see the price. I'm not worried about it playing protected music, since i've gone back to the golden ages and started back buying CDs.

This thing looks REALLY cool. I'll definitely be installing one in my bedroom... possibly to replace my alarm clock. (Assuming I can get it to work that way.)
