which display adaptor?

If I get one of the new mac minis. which display adaptor do I need to be able to plug my existing (7 year old) Dell monitor in the mini?
The current monitor cable has one of the serial-type connectors on it.

no mini display port?

I don't think the new minis have the new mini display port do they?
